SiCK AND TiRED OF BEiNG SiCK AND TiRED!

Updated: Mar 25

Another life taken.
SONYA MASSEY

I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of opening my phone to see the works of the devil prospering through the weak flesh of ignorant and hateful people.

Imagine not feeling safe in your home and calling law enforcement to come in hopes to feel safe to have law enforcement set you up to die.

Every single human with an ounce of humanity should feel heaviness hearing, reading or watching the details of this incident play out, every black person would have felt this attack deeper than imaginable.

I simply don't understand!

I don't understand how anyone can have so much hate in their heart to take a life, I don't understand how that man was still standing after taking a life, I don't understand how that man felt so brazen to take an iNNOCENT life knowing he's being filmed, I don't understand how this has happened again, I don't understand why it will happen again, I don't understand why these people are so threatened by us, I don't understand why the beauty of our skin offends the ugliness of their soul, I don't understand why that spirit wasn't rebuked and that weapon prospered, I don't understand how any of this can be justified, I don't understand how we are supposed to carry on as 'normal' when our sister was murdered whilst hiding in her home on her knees apologising to the devil himself, I simply don't understand.

I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of reading the names of my fellow black brothers and sisters who died at the hands of those who were supposed to keep them safe. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of nothing changing, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of feeling sad and angry, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of weak, scared, racist men and women being handed guns, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

As we all try to comprehend what has transpired we shout her name in solidarity with her family and friends, extending our hands to help in anyway we can, praying for healing, asking God to take control.

SONYA MASSEY is her name. Shout it again!
